6.) Share a sleepwalking story of your own!!
I was an avid sleepwalker when I was younger. One of my favorite past times. I would FREAK my family out because I’d get up after being in bed for a couple of hours and just go stand in the living room and stare at the tv. If they asked me what I was doing I would snap at them to leave me alone.
Mmmmhmmm. A real sweetheart. None of them wanted to get attacked by a crazed sleepwalker so for the most part they left me alone.
Except for this one time. I got up to use the bathroom. I remember walking closing the door and sitting on the toilet. I also remember my oldest sister Bianca opening the door and disturbing my privacy. We’re a very modest family…to this day undressing or changing clothes in front of my sisters is a self-conscious act.
me: (hissing) what are you doing!?!?
Bianca: Ummm…I came in to use the bathroom…what are YOU doing!?!!?
me: (hissing) what does it look like!?!?!
Bianca: It looks like you’re going to the bathroom….
me: (hissing) yeah so get OUT!!! GET OUT!!!
Bianca shrugged and closed the door and the next morning I found my Mom in the kitchen cleaning out the bottom drawer beneath the bathroom sink. You know…the one with the hairdryer and extra bars of soap.
me: what are you doing?
mom: Well gee Kathy I wonder…seems as though someone thought peeing in the drawer would be a fun thing to do last night.
Ahem.
Oops.

Hahaha!!! I’m not much of an lol-er, but I truly laughed aloud at this post. I’ve been reading through all your archives, and I figured I should actually say hi at some point. I’m not creepy. I just don’t have TV right now, and I like a good mommy blog. And your kids are freaking adorable.
