3. If the way you spent your New Year’s Eve is any indication of how the rest of the year will go, how would you say your future is looking right about now?
I spend my New Year’s Eve at home every single because Y2K.
I don’t always live in fear, but I do on New Year’s Eve. What if something blows up? What if a drunk driver hits me? If there were such a thing as a “past life” I believe mine probably ended on a New Year’s Eve somewhere.
And in another past life I was probably smashed between two semi trucks.
And I’m convinced in another past life I accidentally drove myself right off of a very high bridge which explains when I drive over them now thinking, “everything is fine, just look straight ahead…nothing to see anywhere else. Hundreds of people drive across this bridge everyday and never accidentally drive off of it. EVERYTHING IS FINE.”
In yet another past life I was attacked from behind while distracted on a phone call, which is why I’m always prepared to shove an elbow into anyone who sneaks up behind me. Don’t even!
I also think I may have been swallowed whole by a giant whale in my past life, which is why I can’t go in the ocean without fearing for my life.
If I believed in past lives I would believe this is my last life because usually in your last life you’re really centered and wise and…obviously. So I’ll probably die and turn into an angel and take my seat in heaven at the right side of the Father.
It’s also possible I need to go back to church this year and get my sh*t together.
So if my 2015 party of five is any indication of the year to come then I’d say it’s going to be spent feeling completely content, happy, and full on sushi and champagne.
And I’m definitely okay with that!
But will still steer clear of whales, bridges, semi-trucks, and attackers just to be sure.
