Roses are red
Violets are blue
We’re going to Disneyland
But not with you.
It’s not your face
I won’t lie.
It’s your sharp
high pitched cry
It’s because you’re little,
And you yell.
You don’t listen
To your parents well.
You still take naps
You need your sleep,
You need a break
From tired feet.
We’ll see Mickey,
We’ll tell him Hi.
But you will stay
With Grandma at night.
I want you to know
We’ve taken some flak,
For choosing our girls
And leaving you back.
I fought for your cause
I wanted you there,
but you act like a monkey
And your Dad doesn’t care.
If you grow up remembering this

…I love you…
And the fault is all his.
