I was driving with my kids after a movie and ice cream.
I was thinking about how well behaved they were through it all.
I was thinking about how quiet and fight free the ride home was.
I was thinking about the new clothes I had purchased at the mall.
I was thinking about the glass of wine that was waiting for me at home.
I was in a good place.
“You guys? I love you…you really are the greatest kids ever!” I said.
“I don’t.” said the 4 year old.
“But we never listen to you!!” exclaimed the 6 year old.
“……………………..” the 8 year old ignored me.
Ahhhhh…life is good, isn’t it?

Heh. My 15 year old doesn’t even acknowledge my existence, unless he wants money or a ride.

PS: there was just a photo of you [in the header] wearing a Super Woman costume, while feeding a Super Woman action figure, a sip of your beverage. HOLY HILARIOUS.
