1. Merry Christmas! Share how you celebrated December 25th.
This Christmas definitely looked a little different for us this year. Last year we celebrated with a houseful of family at my Mom’s house, we spent the next day in our favorite touristy town of Leavenworth bopping through all of the gift shops and restaurants and then I wrapped the weekend up celebrating my birthday with friends at a Karaoke bar:
Obviously, we were unable to do any of those things this year. Christmas was spent tailgating in my mom’s driveway. There was a small table set up for gifts and each family took turns opening in the middle, a fresh spray of sanitizer after each turn. I think I went home and…napped afterward? I’m not the type that needs to be constantly on the move, but I do like the option! I miss bopping over to visit friends and family, but I’m sure glad I’m locked up with such an enjoyable group. There’s no one I’d rather open sanitized gifts with!
Merry Christmas!
Now it’s your turn!

Happy almost New Year! I’m glad you and yours had a good Christmas despite not having any more family around. Still, kinda sucks, doesn’t it?
Patty says
Christmas this year was definitely overshadowed by the lingering virus issues.
We gathered, oh so carefully, as a family but…that was about it. Christmas stockings and silly gifts all had bottles of hand sanitizer and disposable masks tucked inside. I missed the usual holiday commotion; gifts were opened, dinner was served…the day seemed to end even before it had begun.
Like John said, “kinda sucks”…in fact…it majorly sucked!
Happy, Healthy, New Year!
