2. Write a post where the first and last sentence contains the word: stop.
I remember working at Subway how this lady would not stop tapping on the glass as she out each item she did and did not want on her sandwich.
Every syllable came accompanied by a click of her nails on that glass. Tomatoes came with three clicks because of the three syllables.
I would lay the two-click pickles down and then glance back at the glass waiting for another click like a good dog.
“NO Jal-a-pen-os”…clickclickclickclick.
It was during this job at Subway that I developed a hatred for people who click at me. Don’t you point your fancy fake nails in my direction and demand pickles. DON’T YOU DARE.
I’ve had several different jobs since then. Teaching, receptionist, mother, home daycare provider, customer support…and you know what?
People still click with entitlement. It will always drive me crazy.
I wish them all of life’s jalapenos…or you know…they could stop clicking.
Now it’s your turn!
