1. Name a country you might like to visit and list 7 reasons why you think you’d enjoy it.
Ireland!! Can you imagine traveling somewhere so magical and rich with culture!? Here are 7 reasons I want to visit Ireland!
1. Rolling Fields Of Green And Fences Made Of Stone
Garth Brooks wrote a song about Ireland and every time I hear it I want to go. Who can resist rolling fields of green and fences made of stone surrounded by beautiful ocean?
2. Frank McCourt
Frank McCourt wrote Angela’s Ashes and it was the first book I read that really captured a childhood in Ireland, granted it was stricken with poverty and hunger and loss…but still I want to walk those streets and eat those fish and chips.
3. Castles
Castles fascinate me. Let me in!!
4. That Accent
I want to be immersed in the Irish accent. I love it.
5. Lord of the Dance
Remember when Lord of the Dance was crazy popular? I think my mom even bought the DVD. I think I need to be near more the dancing.
6. Conor Mcgregor
I don’t watch UFC matches and actually cringe at any sport that involves fighting. But I know who Conor Mcgregor is and hot damn, if there are more of him in Ireland I don’t mind if I do! I mean…my husband might though so I’ll just go as a spectator of course.
7. Good Ol’Irish Pub
I don’t even really drink beer, but it would be a shame to visit Ireland and NOT visit a plethora of pubs. Count me in.
Is Ireland on your list? Have you been there? What am I missing?

Ha, during our Germany trip, as noted in my post today, we plan to fly into Ireland and go there for a day or two beforehand. Definitely wanting to visit a pub!

My sister is headed there with a couple in another week and a friend of mine is going with other friends to Ireland later this summer. It must be the trending vacation spot!

Sounds wonderful, Kat.
But, I remain focused on Italy. Period.
