1. Write about someone who inspires you.
When I’m trying to inspire myself to work through fatigue and feel tempted to give in to a nap, I’m all,
“Do you think Beyonce naps!? Do you think Oprah became Oprah by napping?? Come on Kat, get it together!”
I’ll skim through my list of successful, wonderful, hard working women and my response to myself is “You’re right. They don’t stop moving.
They are on the go from sun up to sun down.
They are building empires.
They are shooting magazine covers, selling out concerts, creating clothing lines, and running TV networks.
They know what hard work means and they give it everything they have!!”
So I take one for them too.
God, they must be exhausted.
Now it’s your turn!

The Prompts:
1. Write about someone who inspires you.
2. Tell us about the last thing that annoyed you.
3. Write a blog post inspired by the word: sick.
4. Book review!
5. Tell us about a class you failed.

Of course, they only let you see them when they’re at their best. Beyonce probably has days where she’s sitting on the couch in an old sweatshirt watching Netflix and eating barbecue potato chips, and Oprah doesn’t even have the energy to get out of bed…

Well, John beat me to it so I’ll put my sarcasm on the back burner for another day.
Except for this, you, me, along with most women….even at our very worst, we are still at our best. There’s no entourage at our beck and call to step in for needed rescue. We trudge on and on.
Now I have a thing for BBQ potato chips. Thanks, John.
