It’s the best feeling when I discover a new dinner idea that the entire family likes. My kids can consistently agree on mac and cheese, pizza, and fast food. After that, at least one of the three do not enjoy literally anything else I make. Spaghetti? Not Kainoa. Steak? Not Kainoa. Lasagna? Tacos? Grilled cheese and soup?….not Kainoa.
Let me revise that first paragraph. It’s the best feeling when I discover a new dinner that EVEN KAINOA will eat! Every Friday on YouTube I have been uploading videos to my channel that show my attempt at trying recipes that I find on the food products found in the grocery store.
Last week I shared the Sour Patch Kids Cookies I made with Harper and Savannah. I also shared my first quiche, a Sour Cream Coffee Cake, a few recipes from three different boxes of Nilla Wafers that can be found over here, a couple recipes using Bisquick and let’s not forget the Spam recipes.
This week, a viewer recommended that I look at the recipe printed on a bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing…so I did. I gathered everything I needed to make Ranch Dipped Chicken Fingers. Take a look:
(video here)
This recipe only required 5 easy ingredients. It was simple to make and the kids loved it. You just slice up chicken breast, dip it into ranch dressing, dip it into Panko crumbs, and then bake it. There was also a really delicious dipping sauce included in the instructions and I loved it too.
ave added it to the rotation of dinners I can make that people will not complain about. I call that a win!
